Some photoshoots are like no others and stay imprinted on my mind forever. And such is the case of this 2013 Michigan Christmas shoot. I love it as much to day as I did then and it stills fills me with the nostalgia of simple days. I hope it speaks to you too, especially now when so much innocence is lost in the clutter and clatter of Cyber shopping.

Darryl and Annie McCreary are a couple that does a lot of living in 24-hours. Both are small-business owners––Darryl is a fine craftsman and contractor, and Annie is a seamstress and designer.
In view of the current circumstances it only seems logical to entertain (safely) outdoors, weather permitting. Here are some fun picnic decor and food ideas all can enjoy, even goats and donkeys if you are lucky enough to have one or more of these friendly, affectionate (and hungry) little buddies. Bon appetit!
When Robin Smith saw a longhorn skull in her friend Debra Mangual’s home furnishings shop,The Vintage Soul, she decided it was time to change her decor. “I was ready to redecorate,” Robin says,“ and that skull was just what I needed to get started.”
Rene’s lovely little Seattle home is not fancy or spacious but it exudes charm and comfort. It is in fact a small apartment that embodies Rene’s decorating ingenuity (on a budget) and her take of French country style, which includes a little romance (of course!) and a touch of shabby.
