Magazines have been the heartbeat of my work life. It has also been my friend Ki Nassauer’s. So when so many publishers stopped publishing our issues we both had to find another medium to share our love of homes and anything home related.
This week I am sharing and celebrating Ki’s new endeavor: her beautiful digital magazine LIVED-IN STYLE. If you love vintage you will love this colorful, nostalgic, endearing, and informative publication.
Rene’s lovely little Seattle home is not fancy or spacious but it exudes charm and comfort. It is in fact a small apartment that embodies Rene’s decorating ingenuity (on a budget) and her take of French country style, which includes a little romance (of course!) and a touch of shabby.
Whether you are thinking of styling a whole room, a cozy corner, a reading nook or just a vignette it’s more about options than rules. It’s about creating spaces that reflect your personality and the things you love. It’s also, of course, about beauty and practicality. Don’t let rules get in the way. Just do what makes you feel good. That’s what Creative Styling is.
In this post I have included a wide number of styles and ideas because the possibilities are infinite. I hope you will see something that will inspire you to create a spot that you can call yours and in which you will find peace and comfort (2 qualities much need in today’s chaotic world).
HAPPY NESTING! XOXO
